Intro
BES was an active partner in the first round of Equal in the Kilmarnock College led Partnership for Innovation and Enterprise. BES continues it's involvement under Equal Round Two in the Equal Enterprise Scotland Development Partnership.
BES activities through it members include:
- encouraging the engagement of smes in enterprise education initiatives
- delivering an outreach support package for rural smes
- creating an integrated support model to deliver services to rural smes
- developing an intensive package of support for smes in deprived areas to help them market their businesses.
BES will continue the partnership with Gordon Rural Action to develop the support network of social enterprises in rural Aberdeenshire and work in partnership with Grampian Opportunities to develop ICT support in the voluntary sector.
